Before returning to graduate school and completing ethnographic fieldwork in Havana at the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC) for research titled, "Cinema in Cuban National Development: Women and Film Making Culture," I worked in television and film production in the Spanish-language media markets of New York, Chicago, and Miami. I am the director of PeaceCast TV, an online media channel streaming videos showing the possibilities of living in peace and prosperity. The videos are especially curated for the annual PeaceCast, a worldwide webcast to celebrate peace on the International Day of Peace (Sept 21). The eclectic programming style of PeaceCast TV is to create a wide content umbrella to show that peace is fundamental - and fun - inspiring, entertaining, dynamic, humane, personal and Possible!
