Michelle Schoenmakers Email & Phone Number | Go big or go home! My life motto is to always give 100% to anything you’re dealing with, as this will lead to great accomplishments. During the first year of my bachelors in Health Sciences, this motto lead me to take a bold move: at the start of the new academic year, I was not only studying Health Sciences, but I was attending a bachelors in Biomedical Sciences as well. Three years later I received a double degree as Bachelor of Science. Recently, I graduated my master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, specifically in immunology. After an internship at the department of pediatrics in Maastricht, in which I focussed on the inflamed developing lung, have fulfilled my gradution project investigating the elderly damaged lung at the department of pulmonology in Maastricht. Here, I performed research on a possible new therapeutic target for COPD patients. It is not only in my academic career that I strive to go all-out. Perfoming sports in a team has given me the opportunity to develop social skills and being able to work together. It is always great to share accomplishments with others! Nowadays, I fulfill the position of Regulatory Submissions Coordinator at Medpace, a global CRO targetting to accelerate the development of news medical therapies. Here I combine my extensive scientific background with policy and regulation to provide real-time services in clinical research.
