She has taught Stata and SAS research graduate courses at Columbia University School of Public Health and to Commonwealth Fund staff, and has many years of experience building and coordinating collaborative teams and mentoring individuals throughout their careers. Dr. Doty is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French and earned a B.A. in anthropology at Barnard College. She has both a MPH and PhD in public health from the University of California, Los Angeles.
