In the AML (Applied Machine Learning) Computer Vision team, I played a key role in data collection and model validation on the OCR detection systems that safe guard 3 billion users via image and video content safety at Meta. IMPACT: Millions of image and video posts containing content for violating policies against hate speech, sexual activities and other offensive content were either removed or automatically flagged for review. The system is also deployed to content reviewer to improve their workflow and reduce time spent per review. 2. I founded the AI Creativity team and was the Product Design Lead in the Meta AI Experiences (R&D lab). IMPACT: - I built the Creativity team’s strategy and designed end-to-end experiences which influenced Instagram to establish the IG Creative Lab team for continue execution development. Working along side with the IG team, we shipped 3 Instagram effects which collectively were used to create 1 million Reels videos. 3 utility patents were filed. The brand new AI multi-modal interaction experience in Horizon VR was demoed by Mark Zuckerberg at the Inside of the Lab event and the video became the 3rd most viewed video on the Meta AI YouTube channel. 3. I am an active & passionate contributor to the Product Design community and AI UX Evangelist: IMPACT: - I participated in almost 100 Product Design and Design Program manager interviews. My focus session is in Problem Solving (white boarding) and was regularly summon upon for senior position interviews. - I evangelize in using AI to enhance human creativity, my last keynote speech was at UXCon Vienna 2022 on the topic of AI Human Creative Collaboration. - I am an active community builder and I created the Creative AI interest group at Meta (grew to 400+) members and was on the Woman in AI steering committee and grew 70 members to 500+ members (as of Nov 2022).
