Who wouldn't want to collaborate with creative partners and on an ever-changing roster of fascinating projects, then hold life-changing experiences and memories of once-in-a-lifetime works of art? I believe my creative background informs my approach and my commitment to service inform my work ethic. Many years working in professional theatre has taught me the importance of improvisation. Probably my most-favorite event which I lead, was Everyman Theatre's 25th Anniversary "Birthday cake" party, where executive leadership appeared on "Cake Wars" and we threw a huge party featuring over thirty cakes and numerous activities for all ages during a rotating rep of "Death of a Salesman" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof." The same year we introduced drinks in the theatre, a grab-and-go pre-show food service, and gift shop. My favorite project working with the Maryland Humanities Council (MD Humanities) was the creation of "Humanities Connection," a weekly 4-minute segment educating the public on the humanities available and happening in their communities and lives.The Station donated the time and we produced it for many years...even after my departure. Also, working on programs which foster creative thinking in children is incredibly rewarding. I recommend everyone volunteer for their Maryland History Day competition!
