I’ve worked on a wide range of products, such as artificial hips and knees, military armored vehicles, pressurized pipe systems, airline seats, turbine engines, mid-flight refueling systems, naval vessel propulsion packages, and under-belly fuel tanks for fighter jets. My primary responsibilities for each project have been to interpret customer needs and requirements, create a plan for product analysis/evaluation, enact the plan with regular customer correspondence, and write engineering reports to substantiate technical and regulatory acceptability. The diversity of customers and industries has enabled me to utilize my experience to find creative solutions to problems with strict technical and regulatory requirements. I enjoy working in a team-based environment but have also been successful as the sole engineer on smaller projects. I also have experience working in an ISO 9001 regulated environment.
