He built the SaaS system with more than one application in mind. Initially, the Verify system enabled comprehensive exemption audits of entire property tax rolls in a fraction of the time and with a substantial increase in accuracy and ROI. More recently, Michael augmented it to provide assessment professionals with the ability to instantly check each new exemption application automatically using Verify Reports. These reports provide instantaneous screening of new exemption applications at the point of application whether in person or online. Over the years, Michael has authored several patent applications surrounding this technology and has made several presentations at industry related conferences around the United States. Prior to founding Assessure Systems, Michael worked for almost twenty years in the mortgage lending and property appraisal industry where he learned to appreciate the power of efficient systems and well-run organizations. Recognizing a need for efficient data management solutions in the ad valorem tax assessment arena, he moved away from the world of mortgage lending and focused on creating technological solutions to benefit assessment professionals across the United States.
