Having worked as an applied consultant for approximately 13 years, I have adopted a flexible model of support that is client centred and evidence based. Using a strengths based approach, I consider the uniqueness of each individual and the objective demands of their sporting environments, and provide support to maximise those strengths, trying to ensure that my interventions are fully integrated into the day by day experiences of my clients. I have worked with both coaches and teams across a number of sports that include rugby, judo, and cricket. Individually, I have also worked with a Commonwealth triple jumper and power (weight) lifter, and international athletes in pole-vaulting, trampolining, skiing, and clay-pigeon shooting, some of which are on-going. Recently, these experiences have extended into other industries, where I have successfully applied my services in both education and with local businesses. I have also been an active member of research group at Cardiff Met and Swansea University, generating a number of quality publications in international journals, and over ten international conference presentations.
