During my time here I gained formal training in Orthopedics, Trauma, Biologics, Sports Medicine and Extremities and I am very interested in a role as a medical sales representative. Prior to medical sales college, I attended Hiram college in Cleveland, OH, where I was a four-year varsity winner in baseball. I thank baseball for a lot of the success that I have because it taught me how to handle adversity and to push myself to be better. When I was a senior in college, I ended up tearing my ACL, which should have been a season ending injury for me. Most athletes in that situation would give up, but I refused to let an injury hold me back from doing something that I loved. So for the next few months, I worked harder than anyone on that team, and through dedication, and pushing myself, and never giving up, I was able to return for my senior year. Due to my dedication and pushing myself to be great, I was honored with the “Herbert C. Matthew award” which is given to student athletes that had to overcome significant obstacles to excel in intercollegiate sports. Even after college, that drive, and determination never went away. Since then I’ve gained seven years of sales experience, where I’ve learned about cold calling, negotiating, and closing a deal. Because of my winning mentality, it has helped me with various awards, run my own team, and create a name for myself in every industry I have been in. With the knowledge that I have gained from Medical Sales college, and the experience I have in sales, I believe that I will be a great fit for your company.
