I am also a past Chapter President of OCSEA Chapter 2538, an AFSCME affiliate, I am a current executive board member of our Chapter, I have been a member of NADE, the National Association of Disability Examiners, a professional association for examiners, since 2002, and I am a past Vice President of Glade, the Great Lakes Regional body of NADE, from 2015 and 2016. I have also been active in the Village of Oak Creek Homeowners' Association and am a past President of that body. I have a diverse educational background and a wide range of experience, some of it in leadership positions. Prior to my employment with the State I was a teacher certified for English K through 12. I worked as a substitute in eight school districts in Northeast Ohio. I retired from the State of Ohio on 03/01/2019. I have just been re-certified as a substitute teacher with certification in Integrated Language Arts, Integrated Business and Integrated Social Studies. I have been doing volunteer work through the Nature Conservancy for an environmental education center operated by Columbus Public Schools. I look forward to working again in the education field.
