I began working with Evolution Hospitality in 2013 which merged with Aimbridge Hospitality in 2015. At that time, I was looking to grow, to be a larger part of an organization and take on new challenges. You are able to be the person you are at work as well as away. With leadership having an understanding that you need to rest, enjoy your family, participate in activities outside the work environment and clear your head in order to be productive, it makes for a much more meaningful life. Within Evolution Hospitality I was promoted to The Marquette Hotel, a Curio Collection in 2021. I was previously at the Hyatt Centric Fisherman’s Wharf and Hotel Adagio, Autograph Collection in San Francisco from 2017-2021. I have been able to grow, expand my career and look forward to future opportunities. Celebrating success wildly, I was honored to be named Evolution’s General Manager of the Year in 2018. Before that, I was part of Hotel MdR - a DoubleTree by Hilton, winner of the Evolution Hotel of the Year 2015. With a focus on driving guest satisfaction, focusing on the sales effort, getting involved in the community, taking care of your staff, making wise decisions on spending, being fiercely competitive to steal share within the market and being a role model helped to create a winning combination to help set this staff apart. Everyone worked together by being empowered to enhance the guest experience in achieving a common goal.
