The second philosophy is it is my goal to leave this world a better place than I found it. I am happy to say that the organizations that I have worked for allow me to do that through what I do. The programs I ran at State Farm allowed the organization to help people recover from the unexpected. The program I ran in claims looked at multi-year roadmap to claims team at the forefront of technology to be there for our customers. When I assisted with transferring our Canadian business to Desjardins it was to better serve our Canadian policyholders and allow State Farm to fully focus on its US business. In building state of the art data centers for State Farm, it was so the company could be there for policyholders in any catastrophe situation. My job at Deque has also been fulfilling. In my role at Deque allows me to teach corporations in the Fortune 500 and around the globe how to make their digital presence inclusive and accessible to everyone. This enables these companies to offer their product and services to individuals who need them. Also, at Deque I can use my program/project experience to assist companies to set up accessibility frameworks in their organization to make accessible content just how they do business.
