While still at Arthur J. Gallagher, Mr. Bemi served as the Underwriting Manager and Executive Vice President of Marketing and Regulatory Affairs for The National Catholic Risk Retention Group, Inc. Mr. Bemi left Arthur J. Gallagher to become the full-time President and Chief Executive Officer of The National Catholic Risk Retention Group, Inc., on September 1, 1999, a position he recently retired from. He was also President of its wholly owned subsidiary management company, National Catholic Services, LLC and also its subsidiary claims management and risk control services company, NCS Risk Services, LLC. He has been a frequent speaker at industry gatherings, including engagements on behalf of the Society of CPCU , RIMS , NRRA , CICA , URMIA , PRIMA , VCIA , the Nonprofit Risk Management Center, the World Captive Forum, Captive Live USA , the American Conference Institute Advanced Captive Insurance Forums, the International Association of Claim Professionals and both St. Louis and Philadelphia Annual "I" Day events, among others.
