I have enjoyed working with customers over the years as I was directly involved in the process from customer to Sales to production in the actual SJR. I feel i dealt quite well under high pressure deadlines especially as our industry has changed so much in the last few years. I feel like I became very efficient in meeting our daily deadlines, and making sure that every aspect of those deadlines were met accordingly. The advertising/Newspaper/Print industry is an ever changing process in this fast paced world of the internet now........change is constant. My last current position was one of fast moving changes due to covid and ownership changes thru out the newspaper industry. My responsibilities quickly changed from paper planning for just the SJR and Lincoln Courier to being responsible for anywhere from 6 to 15 different locations of newspapers per day. I feel that my previous customer service training thru out my career helped me to be able to communicate with newspaper teams thruout lIllinois in order to learn their systems,layouts, and procedures to accomplish our goals of getting their products out as quickly and proficiently as humanly possible, all of this in the midst of Covid challenges.
