I now work with community groups and statutory organisations mapping needs, finding gaps in services, working with groups to expand their service to meet the gaps and when this is not possible look to setting up a service to fill that gap. All this involves project management, research skills, report writing, stakeholder management, funding applications, policy and procedure development, staff recruitment, monitoring and training. A substantial part of the role is also volunteer management and training.
