As Director of Scientific Affairs and Training Programs at BioCanRx, I oversee the operations of our translational research pipeline of funded cancer immunotherapy projects with a goal of advancing the most promising therapies to clinic and ultimately to patients. To further support our ecosystem approach to clinical translation of cancer immunotherapies, I direct our translational training program, and have developed several in-depth training programs focusing on clinical translation (e.g., pre-clinical program development, regulatory, GxP). I have strong knowledge of research-funding, biomanufacturing and programming in the Canadian ecosystem. I am also passionate about mentorship in STEM and science policy. My passion project includes founding and directing the Science to Business National Mentorship Program for graduate students and postdocs in STEM, which is now entering its' 5th year (https://www.s2bn.org/mentorship).
