  Md Mahin is a Actively looking for a summer internship. Me In Summary: I am a final year Ph.D. student. In my Ph.D. life I mainly focused on learning how to do proper research on any topic, how to tell story about your findings mathematically and visually and also tried to gather knowledge about as much as related domain possible. What I do: In my research, I build data specific frameworks to extract different types of knowledge. The frameworks I build are generally python coded systems or models or mathematical functions to extract required knowledge. I perform analysis on those functions and represent the results mathematically and visually. My Current Research: My current research takes spatial variables and find their associations. If I focus on its application: experts from every sector are always busy uncovering the relationship within such variables, such as what kind of disease are caused by what kind of pollution, how the target variables such as crime is influenced by other factors and what optimal value combination from different variables will give optimal decision in an AI application. I extract such kind of knowledge from spatial variables. I build model based on data, develop search algorithms to extract different relations and mathematically and statistically justify them, and visually represent them. As a result, my research domain includes search based optimization (using algorithms like genetic algorithms, graph algorithms and other search like hill-climbing, gradient, binary search etc. ), visualization, statistics and mathematics. Apart from that, I also have keen interest towards machine learning and artificial intelligence. My knowledge in those fields came from the courses I have taken, my capstone projects, classes I taught as a TA and projects I designed for students on those courses. I have particularly have some handful experience on Deep Learning models such as VAE, Bert, CNN and other ML tools and have experience on solving problems using Reinforcement Learning and genetic algorithm. I worked with tools like scipy, keras, pytorch and tensorflow. I also worked on cloud tools like Heroku. I have developed python API's (supported by heroku) to predict floods based on historical data during my work as an RA in a funded project. I had opportunity to work with tools like Shapely, Geopandas, Gdal, OSM, postman, JSON etc. I like to learn and complete task, I am a good teacher, hard worker and slightly simple minded honest person. I had affiliation to a number of extracurricular groups. I used to be a regular blood donor.
