May Ann Chiam is a I am a strategic, 360° marketing communications leader who has about 12 years experience in finance and technology organisations (local, regional, global roles). My key focus is to deliver integrated marketing solutions that build brand equity, enhance client relationships and accelerate business growth. This includes brand positioning, B2B thought leadership campaigns, digital advocacy and training, as well as managing proprietary events and industry conferences. I started my career pioneering the Digital Marketing Communications team in the Singapore Exchange (SGX). During that time, I took on a lead role to bring the Exchange through their initial digital transformation journey and amplified the brand across various channels. My move to Mastercard, and then Standard Chartered Bank, has allowed me to broaden my experience within regional and global roles, working with business heads to engage with customers from corporates to private wealth individuals. Above and beyond my education and training, I devote my time in impact and social initiatives that address financial inclusion, women education in STEM, sustainability, to name a few, within the organisations I’m in. On the personal front, I am actively involved in youth programs and am passionate about nurturing the next generation of young leaders. I love connecting with people, and I also aim to strike a balance between career aspirations, personal development, and my young family.
