I am seeking a challenging opportunity to apply my unique mix of gained knowledge in the fields of masterplanning, urban planning and highway design engineering. Being in the field since 2011 I have been involved into design and project management of multiple levels of transportation and mobility projects. Working alongside stakeholders like Dubai Municipality, Dubai Development Authority, Abu Dhabi DOT, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Public Investment Fund of KSA, etc. I have gained extensive in-depth knowledge and practice in project management and stakeholder engagement management. After graduating in Civil Engineering, I worked as a Highway Engineer from 2011 until 2016 in the UAE. During this time, I realised that I wanted to expand my horizons and decided to move to the UK, to fulfil my ambition and learn more about urban planning. As I believe that cities should be designed differently to the car centric way we currently practice, I decided to expand my professional experience by adding a Master’s degree to my education. The idea of being able to understand all aspects of how cities work is what has driven me towards this path, and I am in the process of applying theory into practice. I have had the fortune to explore this for the past several years working on a range of urban planning projects, ranging from strategic, to masterplanning to the place making level, all of which I have thoroughly enjoyed and learnt from. I am now extremely keen to continue this trajectory, build on this experience and find a role that will allow me to apply myself, grow and contribute towards better cities of the future.
