He was a member of World 50 Chief Risk Officers, a private community for CRO’s at globally respected organizations sharing experiences to discover better ideas. He also Chaired Centene’s United Way giving campaign. He has more than 25 years of experience characterized by increasing levels of leadership, influence, and accomplishments within leading organizations interacting with executive leadership, boards, and audit committees. Prior to joining Centene, Matt was a Partner in large multi-national audit and advisory firms leading Health Care Risk Advisory services. Matt earned an MBA from Wayne State University and a bachelor’s in International Business from Alma College. He studied in Madrid, Spain and Wollongong, Australia. Matt is a member of IIA, ISACA and PMI. His certifications include PMP, CISA and CRISC. Matt previously served as the Finance Committee Chair for the Felton Institute in Oakland, CA, supporting their mission to respond to human needs by providing cutting edge, evidence-based mental health and social services that transform lives. Currently he serves as a Board Director for the St. Louis Sports Commission and The Little Bit Foundation (TLBF) which is committed to breaking down barriers to learning for students living in poverty through partnerships and programs that serve the needs of the whole child. TLBF’s aim is to empower students to achieve their academic goals and dreams for the future.
