Matthew Memelo Email & Phone Number | Videographer/Cinematographer and Owner of Memelo Productions I have been focussing on video production since I entered film school in 2013 at the State University of New York at Oswego. Cinematography has primarily been my concentration as I was trained on lighting, shooting, and editing traditional 16mm film. I have learned from classical lighting techniques, exposing properly, and framing shots on 16mm cameras which have prepared me to "get it right the first time" when transitioning into the digital filmmaking realm. I have volunteered on numerous student films throughout my university studies as cinematographer including an unreleased documentary titled Dark Horse and the 30-minute surrealism thriller Greener. My thesis short film Delgado is one of the few projects I have put down the camera to direct. Additional college coursework I have taken includes digital imaging and advanced computer graphics, which I applied previous knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications to newer 3D modeling programs such as Carrara and Terragen. I also completed a motion graphics class that furthered my knowledge of Adobe After Effects and typography within design. Current skills that I utilize every day i'm working on a production include concepting, storyboard development, creating shot lists, lighting, camera operation, post production, and color grading ProRes/CinemaDNG RAW video. Now that I've graduated, I find myself freelancing more often than no t. Music videos, wedding highlight films, corporate advertisements, promotional work for social media, general videography duties - it's all fair game. I want to tell your story through the cinematic medium.
