Some of my career highlights include: 🔆 Created and led U.S. Bank’s minority focused private equity investment platform, raising internal funds and deploying capital under a fund of fund strategy to U.S. based minority owned/led companies. 🔆 Managed, originated, and closed over 2.5 billion across more than 150 federal and state tax credit investments (NMTC/HTC) into U.S. based companies revitalizing low-income communities. 🔆 Created a 300MM+ marketing agency platform through strategic acquisition and organic growth operating across the US, EU, UK, and MENA. 🔆 Led U.S. Bancorp CDC’s strategic workout team, hands on managing impaired and at-risk transactions resulting in significant investment loss prevention and portfolio stabilization. 🔆 Served as an advisor/board member to international NPOs focused on community improvement for at-risk individuals and global poverty alleviation efforts, resulting in more than 3 million in direct financial and support benefits going to marginalized communities. 🔆 Championed entrepreneurship by directly funding minority founders, teaching young entrepreneurs, and providing thought leadership to better align diversity goals across the industry. I am committed to creating opportunities to better align investment returns with the fundamental mission of powering a more just and equitable global society. I believe that this fundamentally hinges on empowering entrepreneurship, enhancing diversity, and eliminating intergenerational poverty.
