  Matthew Hall is a I'm Matt, a freelance developer/consultant specialising in Rails (since 2011), with several years professional experience in React, React Native, Ruby, DevOps (Terraform, Ansible, AWS, etc...). I've worked with single founders, existing teams, corrected course of projects, scaled to millions of users and developed safety critical software. I've developed backends, APIs, iOS apps, PWA's, command line tools and API integration libraries. I've deployed microservices, scaled and split up monoliths. I've written real-time software, computer vision systems and lots (lots and lots) of line-of-business software. I started working with C, moved to C++ and a little C#. I've touched on ASP a long time ago, and PHP at around the same time, but quickly moved to Ruby once I saw Rails. I can code in Ruby, JS, C, (a little) Python, build infrastructure using Docker, Ansible and Terraform (and if pressed, Salt and Chef). I have worked a bit with React and React Native, and have worked to deliver projects in Objective-C back when the iPhone was getting popular. I'm looking into Rust and Elixir at the moment for my personal projects, but always have time for Ruby.
