I want to vacation on Mars or the Moon and get there in just a few hours. I want to see beautiful street art on every corner. I want ugliness to be destroyed completely. Everything I know about the software industry I learned by right-clicking to see what happens next. My background is sales and that is the prism through which I view the business. My time working as a VAR gives me perspective into what partners need and want to receive from manufacturers. Add in a healthy appreciation for punk rock, graffiti art and subversive writers and what starts to emerge is someone who knows to look for horses when I hear the sound of thundering hooves….but I can turn them into zebras once they arrive. I believe that large corporations must act like startups and communicate directly with their users and targeted users. Those conversations are going to happen with us or without us. I'd rather be in there contributing.
