Mary Hotelling Email & Phone Number | I am a recent graduate of Remington College where I studied medical assisting with an accentuation of Phlebotomy. We have worked in hands on lab settings almost daily to enhance our skills and knowledge. I worked in the medical field for over twelve years before changing the way I take care of others while working for close to three years at Dollar General. There I learned more about managing other and how important having a deadline can be. I worked as a team member with others and I also trained many of the team members I worked with. I am a former certified nursing assistant and a graduated EMT-basic. I worked for three years as a live in care giver for someone who was a full care patient and completely reliant on me and others for her care. I was in charge of setting up and giving this patient their medications, making sure there were no skin break down, and should an emergency arise I was in charge of seeing that all the information need for medical transport was in order. While working as a CNA, I worked as a team member in a thirty-two bed nursing facility; I was in charge of the care of seven patients at one time. Many of whom were unable to do most of their own ADL’s or even feed themselves. I filed out reports on every patient under my charge and charted all of their vitals daily. I feel I am an asset to my future employer and would be a value member to their team thanks to the knowledge and skills I have acquired over the last thirteen years of my medical career.
