Marvin Clark is a I am 2L law student, Opportunity Scholar, and Business Law Scholar at Georgetown University Law Center. My legal interests include litigation; specifically in the areas of Antitrust and Securities, but also Public Company Representation. Broadly speaking I want to pursue legal work that helps foster healthy market dynamics. My desire to go to law school began when I was a child. That desire motivated me to participate in high school mentor moot court, mock trial, international moot court, and negotiation competitions facilitated by Fordham Law school and the Justice Resource Center run out of Martin Luther King Jr. High School. These competitions reinforced my drive to pursue a career in the legal field. Because I was fortunate enough to benefit from having mentors in my network, I took on several mentorship roles through out my undergraduate experience. And giving back remains one of my core values. And per the advice of my mentor attorneys, after college I pursued my interests in other areas including personal training, sales, and entrepreneurship. With all of these experiences taken together, I am confident I will make positive contributions to the legal field and bring more opportunities to underrepresented groups like the ones I represent.
