Mark Ward Email & Phone Number | I'm a time served mechanical apprentice for 4 years gaining: Performing engineering operations level 2, turning, milling, fitting etc city and guilds lvl 3 in maintenance, (Merit) national diploma lvl 3 in mechanical engineering NVQ lvl 3 mechanical fitting and assembly I have an additional 5 years experience mechanical fitting for GE energy, including test area layouts, large rotating machine build and lineouts to motors, gearboxes and other test equipment, experienced slinger / crane driver as part of the role I then spent 11months working at Cavendish Nuclear in Whetstone, on a large variety of tasks, mainly the Berkeley vaults R3 modules, from empty shells to installing electrical systems and mechanical equipment, through to commissioning support and strip down for shipping. I joined the Cemex plant in Rugby to take on a maintainer / operator role, i was there for 6 months covering repairs and preventative maintenance I then spent 12 months as a mechanical technician at Devonport royal dockyard supporting the nuclear refuel operations for HMS Vanguard after that position had come to it's end, I joined Cavendish Nuclear ltd as a mobile mechanical technician and spent 7 months at Faslane Naval base, supporting the Stat test team during the Covid 19 pandemic, before moving onto Nuclear power stations as a mobile mech tech, working mostly at Hartlepool on filtration projects, also extending to Heysham Torness and Dungeness doing projects I am now back with my Roots in motors and generators as a field service technician with Quartzelec, happily employed and not looking for work!
