After 15 successful years in the Regional Sales Manager role, helping customers in Texas, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas, I transitioned into the Director of Inside Sales Role. It was my privilege to be a leader at HCSS during a time of tremendous sales growth. During my 8 years as Director of Inside Sales, I established the HCSS Lead Generation and Development Group. This group was formed to both develop leads and to develop highly trained consultative sales staff. An additional focus of this group to foster a culture in which the team not only helped customers with honesty and integrity, but also willingly shared their knowledge with each other and HCSS. In other words, each individual producer helped all of us be better. I also managed the Inside sales closing group, which tripled in headcount as team members elevated from the Lead Generation and Development Group and became successful members of the sales closing team. Now as Director of Sales Enablement, I am able to focus on my true passion, which is helping people grow into their full potential as a salesperson. In other words, teaching sales staff deep dive product education, ethics in selling, relationship building, & demo to close with a high win rate. This while staying within the HCSS culture and earning the respect and trust of customers during the process. Taking care of customers with the customer’s best interest in mind is a great way to be successful in sales and earn many customer friends along your sales journey.
