My role included. • Regular meetings with the board of directors. • Data analysis and extraction to Excel. • Report writing to support the business KPI's • Implemented a small business server prior to 2000. • Future proofing the business with necessary hardware upgrades. • Compiled and wrote reports on a weekly basis on Stock inventory. • Ran a yearly stock take within the business Average holding was one million units. • Wrote P&L reports on an quarterly basis. • Wrote reports for forecasting, including purchase, sales and stock over time periods. • Managed the business change with the upgrade from the Unix ERP system to Sage 1000 ERP and CRM systems in 2007. • Managed the business change with the addition of Datalinx Warehouse and wireless handheld solution in 2008. • Managed the business change with the upgrade from Sage1000 and CRM to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central. Maintaining all hardware and software and printers in use with the company. This included Mac's and windows based equipment. IT Assistant Moore Large & Co Ltd - Derby October 1995 to June 1999 First position from university. Worked as the IT assistant with Moore Large and helped relocate the servers from Luton to Derby. Supported both sites remotely. Worked in a small team completing daily tasks such as • Printing and distributing reports. • 1st line support for users of the Unix based ERP system • Backup routines for both Unix servers. • Data upload and order processing across the two Systems. • Cabling for Dumb Terminals • Hardware fault diagnosis. • Setting up new users on software and hardware.
