Actively involved in his community, he currently serves on the boards of The Gibbes Museum of Art, Cradle to Career, and the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. Some of his past leadership positions in the community include, The South Carolina Bankers Association, Trident United Way, Leadership South Carolina – Class of 2016, Hilton Head Island Celebrity Golf Tournament, The Sandbox Children's Museum, St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Hilton Head Christian Academy, and Hilton Head Regional Medical Center.
