Mark Mandeno Email & Phone Number | In January 2015 while playing in the waves with my children, I fell off a surfboard and landed in such a way that I dislocated my neck and caused a spinal cord injury. This created major changes in my life however some things remain the same. My commitment to my own increased understanding and efforts to be a better person in this world, my commitment to inspiring others and helping them see the best and worst of themselves in such a way as for them to take responsibility and become better people. There is a theme that has connected all my past work. I get the most satisfaction when helping people connect with new possibilities. My personal experiences in the outdoors, work as a teacher in an outdoor education programme and training and working as a counsellor has contributed to my current purpose - Connecting people with possibility. What I believe: Everybody has a next step. The next steps that will leverage the greatest changes in our lives are when we step out of what is familiar and predictable. This apply's to any context of our lives, with our loved ones, with our careers and with ourselves. The next step for each of us is personal and unique. The next steps that will create the best changes in our lives are always the hardest to take. We know we can be different, we know we need to be different but doing it is hard. I have become familiar with the power of group processes and well planned adventurous experiences in this change process. People are able to connect with their courage and fears and experience themselves with personal vision belief and responsibility. Groups can creates the mirror you need to see aspects of yourself previously unknown and the experiential learning with facilitation creates the opportunity for people to see themselves differently . I am looking to partner with people who connect with me. I am open to creating new ways of delivering this purpose and looking for ways for myself to take my next step.
