Since 1997, Mark has been the Corporate Radiation Safety Officer (CRSO) for EnergySolutions and one of its predecessors, Envirocare of Utah. As the CRSO for EnergySolutions, Mark has been involved with the integration of four radiation protection programs, including international operations, into the current EnergySolutions’ Radiation Safety Program. His responsibilities include independent assessments of facility EHSQS programs, causal analysis (ICAM), and the implementation of a safety culture throughout the EnergySolutions. Mark previously chaired the EFCOG Radiation Protection Sub Group that involves biannual meetings with most of the DOE complex site directors of radiation protection and previously held a DOE “Q” clearance.
