As a general cardiology fellow, I have logged the following cardiac catheterization procedures (as of December 2015) PRIOR to the start of my invasive fellowship:Coronary Focus:-380 coronary angiograms + left heart catheterizations-239 cases via radial artery access-86 percutaneous coronary interventions -25 cases utilizing fractional flow reserve-17 cases utilizing intravascular ultrasound-7 of inserting left ventricular support devices-203 right heart catheterizations-57 endomyocardial biopsies-5 pericardiocenteses -60 patients studied post-cardiac transplantationPeripheral Focus:-7 lower extremity arterial interventions-1 carotid stent placement-3 endovascular aortic repairs My area of research and interest is in invasive coronary physiology assessment using coronary flow reserve and high-fidelity intracardiac hemodynamics and mechanics using micromanometer and conductance catheters.
