Marjan Benam is a A previous Credit Risk Analyst where my day-to-day functions included using SAP and WSCO to handle different credit based entities such as Agency Desk - where I worked with non-profit organizations whom wished to pledge on customer accounts who may not be able to afford electricity; I conducted a checks/payment project within the Agency Desk, which discovered inconsistencies in the accounting aspect of a customer's account; I handled Positive ID holds, which occurred when a customer was opening a new account and the company had to ensure there wasn't any fraud; I did fraud investigations, which handled accounts that had been flagged as fraudulent and determined whether a person could be held responsible or not. I was cross-trained in almost all the avenues of the credit side of this company.As a previous agent at Delta Air Lines, I have definitely learned how to better communicate with others -- especially those from different cultural backgrounds. Through my own cultural lense, I have learned to expand my sensitivity to those I am helping. Being a customer service agent at an airport has given me the ability to expand my patience, gain opposing perceptions, and have better understandings of what is being asked of not only myself, but my company as a whole.My duties entail risk-related functions, which both support and provide the latest data and information for Shell Trading.At this position, I worked with a variety of Fortune 500 companies to collect valuable data, generate reports and create successful outputs, which aided in accomplishing cross-functional goals for each company.
