As coordinator of the graduation minor Smart Culture I have a special focus on urban Cultural offering, Retail development and Placemaking in the metropolitan city region of Amsterdam. Based in our living Urban Leisure & Tourism Lab my students and I did several researches, e.g. into the influence of gentrification on the lifestyle, consumer behavior and leisure needs of inhabitants and visitors of Amsterdam South-East and North. We developed innovative leisure concepts for several Shopping areas, always trying to find human centred and inclusive solutions, with respect for the diversity of stakeholder perspectives involved, such as the local inhabitants, entrepreneurs, street managers, social housing corporations and the municipality of Amsterdam. My specialties: Experience Economy, Lifestyle marketing, Urban Placemaking, Smart Culture, Italian language & Culture, Tour Operating Business in Italy (cultural & gastronomic holidays).
