Negotiating different languages and cultures was baked into my DNA, as I had a father who was raised in Mexico City, became a doctor, and retired as a Naval Captain, and a mother who was raised in Germany and became a clinical psychologist. Earning dual master's degrees, an MBA and a Masters in Arts Administration, prepared me for professional accomplishment, as did early experience as a professional modern and classical ballet dancer and teacher in Texas and New York City. Earning certifications as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy and a Certified Fund Raising Executive focused my professional mission on helping individuals with their philanthropic endeavors.
