I have spent the past ten years delivering chronic disease self-management workshops, resource support/ advocacy, and wellness program development/facilitation consultation. I have now returned to my Master of Urban Studies (MUS) roots in community development work. My work is to amplify social action and influencing systemic changes in order to address many social determinants of health that also contribute to root causes of financial and emotional poverty. I am always looking for new opportunities to continue my professional and volunteer work with building, strengthening, shifting ownership, supporting agency, changing local dialogue to re-frame structures/systems that create community-driven resources for equity, access and justice in all forms, for all people.
