Primary focus is on audit methodology and supporting the establishment of policies and procedures to comply with auditing and attestation standards, including the development and review of forms, letters, templates, and learning materials. Interface with others on the implementation of new standards and the implications to methodology and also consult on various technical assurance matters. Played a lead role in the development of a global audit methodology as well as appropriate localization and implementation in the US. Former member of the Auditing Standards Board of the AICPA as well as the Audit Issues Task Force. Previously served as the Technical Advisor to the firm’s International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board member and the firm's Auditing Standards Board member. Honored by the Auditing Standards Board for valuable contributions over numerous years of service. Served as the Executive Sponsor of the Diverse Abilities at Grant Thornton & Allies Business Resource Group. Our mission is to drive greater awareness of the abilities and potential contributions of people with disabilities within our firm, and with our clients and strategic partners. Joined Grant Thornton LLP after spending a short period of time in private industry as a Director of Investor Accounting.
