I continue to disseminated knowledge related to my area of expertise in educational technology. I was awarded second place at the 4th Annual Cultural Inclusion Institute for poster presentation titled Promoting Excellence in Nursing and Health Education through Cultural Simulations. Latest abstract selections in 2019 were, for a poster presentation titled Implementing a Wiki Group Assignment Focused on Cultural Inclusivity, and Strategies to Discern Implicit Bias Utilizing Evidence for the 6th Annual Cultural Inclusive Institute and poster and Podium Presentation, Problem Based Learning and Wiki Tools Support DNP Students Collaboration Across Disciplines in Order to Improve Health Care Outcomes, for the 12th National Doctor of Nursing Practice Conference. Research grant work between 2011-2015 have been focused on two HRSA Advanced Education Nursing Grants awarded titled :"Technology Interprofessional Culturally Competent Education Program" (TIPCE) and “Culturally Competent Combined RN/MSN Program for Diverse Students” I have held research roles in the aforementioned grants as Principal Investigator, Co-Investigator and Coordinator of Simulation and Technology.
