An executive MBA degree from the Said Business School which I received in 2019 underpins my advisory skills and helps me solve my clients’ legal and compliance issues through the business lens. I also possess substantial practical knowledge in sanctions’ compliance matters. My experience in this field includes ensuring sanctions’ compliance of senior company officials (examining 1,000+ transactions per year), preparing sanctions’ risk matrices and contingency plans, leading sanctions’ due diligence, advising on sanctions’ laws relevant for M&As. I am a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) and the ACAMS Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (certification is valid until April 2026).
