I have worked in healthcare for over twenty years of which most was spent working in acute, critical and emergency care. I have been teaching clinical skills to health care professionals and acquired a teaching qualification and successfully completed a MSc degree in Medical and Health Care Education 2021. During the pandemic I was teaching and preparing nurses and doctors to provide specialist treatment for COVID 19 patients and worked alongside multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals caring for the sick. Global disease will not go away, and as the world population increases, so does the health risk to the world. I believe now is the time to put in place systems to prepare communities for future outbreaks and disasters. I will be an asset to any team developing and implementing humanitarian projects aimed at educating communities, promoting health and identifying gaps in knowledge. I place the well being of every person at the center of what I do and at the same time believe it is the right of every man, women and child to live a healthy, productive and happy life.
