I also co-chair the W3C Web Incubator Community Group, which has been the primary driver of innovations on the Web for a decade. Apart from my standards work, I'm an active software developer with extensive HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C++ experience. The software I've written is deployed and used by hundreds of millions of people via various browser engines. Additionally, the software I maintain (ReSpec) is used to generate about half of specifications at the W3C. I'm also a mentor dedicated to increasing diversity and inclusion in technology. I've mentored numerous people from under-represented groups through the Outreachy program, as well as through Google Summer of Code.
