In recent years I focus mostly on backend development of web applications, often hosted on Azure natively and in Docker - in both monolith and microservice architectures. I had opportunity to familiarize myself with various code repositories/management systems (SVN, GIT, TFS) and project management systems (TFS, Jira/Confluence, Bugzilla, customer dedicated solutions). I started as a junior developer with literally no knowledge of .NET, but as I gained experience I started to voice my opinions about developed code which led me to an architect/tech lead roles for some of applications. I had worked with customers from Poland and from abroad, in teams located in one office and distributed across countries, which sometimes involved travels, written and spoken communication in English (and in Polish, of course). I experienced multiple project management styles (iterational waterfall, scrum, “ScrumBut”, “we’ll manage it somehow”). I was entrusted to lead projects during my project manager absences, I led small teams of developers tasked to implement some standalone modules and recently I was a technical team leader for 1.5 year. For last few years I participate in technical interviews for recruitment processes on .NET backend developer role. In past few years i had opportunity to share my knowledge with students by conducting lectures in topics of Visual Studio, .NET debugging techniques and development basics of .NET and ASP.NET MVC.
