After getting certified as a Personal Trainer, I have studied and have become a certified Yoga Teacher. Empowering people to take charge of their stress, mobility, and strength is absolutely amazing. I also specialize in Children's Yoga which instills a positive body-image and a passion for exercise at a young age. As for my military experience: I have 22 years experience in finance, logistics and intelligence analysis. I am a problem-solving manager with strengths in multi-tasking, organization and adaptability in ever changing environments. I have been recognized for managing problem-solving teams with members from various backgrounds. I am a goal oriented, analytical leader with exceptional communication skills. I also held the position of Finance Liaison and Finance Secretary at our church. Both were on a volunteer basis where I learned about non-profit database management, budget reports and expenditure reports. The paid position of Director of Youth and Family Ministries gave me further experience of managing and leading all aspects of the ministry to include creating the Sunday School curriculum for high schoolers, further use of MS Excel to manage our budget, and the planning for and leading a team of 4 other adults and 10 youth to fundraise for and travel on 5 total synod level events in the local area and to Houston, Texas. After being in charge of my child's education and a homeschool teacher for the 5 years, I am ready to gather all of my experiences and get back into the workforce.
