The first is in Richmond, McLean Engineering, Inc., and the second, Crystal Clear Water is in Fredericksburg, Virginia. McLean Engineering was established in 1971 and was an individually owned by a local family. Crystal Clear Water was RainSoft dealership. Rainsoft is an international water filtration company in business for more than 70 years. We ran the two companies separately and still do. We were interested in learning the best practices and hurdles for a dealership vs an individually owned company. After five years, the success in Fredericksburg prompted Rainsoft to offer us the Richmond territory. After careful consideration, we decided to open a second Rainsoft dealership in Richmond and merge our McLean Engineering customers into Crystal Clear Water. We felt that the opportunity was much greater with the dealership for both growth and for the warranties and support our customer would receive. For the past five years, we have owned and operated the two companies. We sell new equipment and service existing equipment as far south as Emporia, Va and as far north as Fairfax county Va. I held a position on The Dealer Advisory Board for Rainsoft for three years.
