Given my mathematical background, in 1989 I was hired by Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, to develop pricing model for swaps and options. From there, I moved to Chase trading room with responsibility to provide Italian Istitutional clients with hedging solutions for interest rate and currency risk. In 1991, I was hired by JPMorgan (Milan) as a derivative sales but after 1 year, I was offered the opportunity to manage the Lira interest rate and volatility proprietory book of the bank. After 4 years of proprietory trading, JPMorgan offered me the opportunity to manage the private banking individual accounts in Italy and to be a memeber of the European Investment Committee of JPMorgan Asset Management. In 1999, I left JPMorgan to join Banca Popolare di Milano where I began as Head of Segregated accounts management (both private and Istitutional clients) and I left as General Manager of Bipiemme Private Banking sim (the company dedicated to the private banking business) In 2003 I was hired by Unicredit Private Banking as Chief Investment Officer with responsibility to set up and manage a team of investment specialists to provide investment strategies and investment solutions to private clients. In 2009 my responsibility as CIO was extend to the European PB division. Since January 2013, I was given the responsibility to chair the Group Investment Committe and Since the beginning of february 2014, I was also given responsibility for the funds selection activity and investment product development for Unicredit Private banking. I have the managerial responsibility for a team of investment and product specialists, based in Milan, Munich and Wienn.
