Manuela Di Zazzo Email & Phone Number | My experience in the FCA group, now Stellantis, started 18 years ago. I started when the group was managing a new way of approaching the factory with World Class Manufacturing. Shortly thereafter, I was given my first role in the factory as Technologist for a section of line. It was the first experience for me that allowed me to understand the operating dynamics of a factory in a large and complex unit. In the following years I was lucky enough to come across the most complex and demanding sector of the factory, that of production. I think it was extremely hard but formative for me; first as a young supervisor and then shift manager. I never imagined I would be able to manage so many people with success and satisfaction. When, after a few years in this role, I had an experience as Professional Maintenance Manager of Assembly, a complex experience for me as I believe I don't have a technical background. My experience was then enriched because I was asked to manage an office that is considered strategic in the Manufacturing field, namely the Production Planning & Controlling office. I maintained this role until the end of my second pregnancy. It was the end of 2017. From there for the next 6 years I had the wonderful opportunity to get to know a unit that, despite being in the district, was totally unknown to me, that of Plastics. Wonderful experience because I had the opportunity to see the functioning of a transformation unit from raw material to finished product. Above all, I discovered what it means to work in a company that must be competitive and sustainable, trying to reduce costs and saturating its plants while considering insuring profitable products. The latest experience that I have been facing in recent months is certainly decidedly challenging for me because I was asked to follow the product and process of two technically complex and very different units such as Body and Paint Shops. What I can say is that the different experiences I have had have certainly helped me develop the managerial side. I had very varied teams of people and I tried to focus on each of them, trying to leverage professionalism and establishing a relationship of extreme trust. I am extremely convinced that the relationship and empathy in a team are the secret of successful work.
