Makenna Sunbury is a Hi, I'm Makenna Sunbury and I'm a second-year student physical therapist in Hanover College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program! I received my undergraduate Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Indiana University - Indianapolis in May 2023. I have been passionate about helping others achieve their maximum quality of life by enhancing their physiological, psychological, and emotional well-being through physical therapy! I worked as a physical therapy rehabilitation aide at Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy while in college, which fueled my desire to one day treat my own patients. I ran cross country in track from middle school through college and sustained injuries that allowed me to experience the patient side of physical therapy and to learn how I would want to treat my future patients! I look forward to redefining the impact movement has on my patients!
