A year into college I discovered accounting and knew that was the field I wanted to be in. I felt the need to pursue this degree at a school with a better accounting program. I decided on NC State because they have a great business program and the location in Raleigh was excellent. Since transferring to NC State, I've gained valuable skills in being professional, well written, and have increased my knowledge of my major significantly, bringing me closer to achieving my degree. This school has been a great asset to the goals I have laid out for my future and since coming to NC State, I've never looked back. Throughout my college career I am constantly determined to do my absolute best in all of my studies, especially in accounting. With the end of my undergraduate in sight, I hope to have enough knowledge and skills to pass the CPA exam and to advance to a higher position in whichever company I find myself working for.
