My present job profile is: Studying architectural drawings in co-ordination with the structural engineer then creating the tender drawings, After the approval from the client-side creating the site execution drawings like foundation details, column, and beam reinforcement details, formwork, or GA details, slab reinforcement details, column curtailment details, staircase reinforcement details finally BOQ details, etc. Creating project files on the Revit platform. This involves initial arrangements like geo-referencing, creating work sets, and shared coordinates to facilitate easy understanding between various departments. This is the one-time effort that has to be done for any project which gets started on Revit. It also helps in easy marking at the site. I can also do the customization for AutoCAD with the help of visual lisp programming and am capable of handling a drafting team by maintaining the CADD standard. In my present job, I have done many CAD customization tools (i.e. lisp programs) for drafting purposes which saves a lot of time and also gives high quality. For example, I have done programs for drafting beam LS, beam cross section, and slab reinforcement detail along with BBS & BOQ, etc. By using these programs we can save 80% of the time with very good quality. Apart from the given designation, I would also like to take up valuable responsibilities in the company. So with this background, I am applying for the job. One of my Auto LISP customization tools which is used for the generation of beam details from the excel file input has got recognized by the management and the same has been showcased in the Autodesk university seminar which was held in Bangalore 2019.
